Today’s home is not complete without a few modern conveniences. Few homes are without washers and dryers, stoves and refrigerators, and most have dishwashers. The general public loves their appliances and so do I!
My love of appliance repair came from helping my father fix different things. He encouraged me to do what I enjoyed, so here I am in the appliance repair business. I am happy to say that I have just finished my first year owning my own appliance repair business and thought that I’d share some of my thoughts on the past year.
I started working on my own after working for other businesses. What I discovered is that many people operate their businesses in a manner that just wasn’t compatible to the way I wanted to run things. My personal philosophy is that when I come into someone’s home, I should do my best to assist them with quality work, done in a professional manner. I want to do the job right the first time at the best possible cost to the consumer.
At the end of this first year, I have discovered that I enjoy running my own business. While running a business is hard work, it is very rewarding seeing the satisfaction and yes, relief on client’s faces when I have their appliances back in working order. Working within the Southeast Michigan region is like working in my own home. This is where I grew up and where I want to stay. So, thank you to all of my clients, both old and new, and thank you for a wonderful start to Katie’s Appliance Repair, LLC.
